What “built differently” actually means
DMG L&D, LLC builds and runs its own software products, and takes client work in software, data, and training. The markets have nothing to do with each other. The way the products get built does.
What we do
Unrelated markets, the same rules
The name came out of learning and development, and training is still work we take. It stopped describing the whole company a while back. What's actually shipped: an assistive speech app, a Florida public records platform, a file utility suite, tamper-evident handoff receipts, a licensing reference site, and two open-source developer tools.
They look unrelated because the markets are. The rules behind them don't move. Ask for as little as the job actually needs, say where the numbers came from, and let someone check the result without having to trust us for it. CredentialDesk cites and dates every figure. A Pactbound receipt checks out without an account. skim ships a command that tests its own core claim against your files.
Founder-led and small, which rules out big engagements. It also means the person who wrote the code answers your email.
Where the work lands
- Software products, built and then operated
- Data platforms and public records access
- Accessibility and assistive tools
- Verifiable records and compliance tooling
- Open-source developer tools
- Client work: software, data, training, consulting
What that means in practice
Everything on the products page is live and maintained, apart from PSPCR, which is still in development.
The products
Four things that are true of all of them
They're all still up
echoRune, bytario, sneyk, Pactbound, and CredentialDesk are live right now, maintained by the people who wrote them.
Each one's smaller than it could be
bytario is 35 file tools with no account system. sneyk covers Florida, not fifty states. Both were finishable, that was the point.
Most of them ask for nothing
echoRune needs no account. bytario converts in the browser, files never leave your machine. CredentialDesk is free to read and sells no CE courses.
Two can be checked without us
A Pactbound receipt verifies through the open-source verifier, no account needed. skim ships a command that tests its own core claim against your files.
